That’s not even getting into the subject of sex education and teaching sex positivity as early as possible. It’s like nudity, in cultures where it’s normal it doesn’t traumatize a child. In prudish cultures that develop deep shame about your body it becomes shocking and disturbing. Prudish tradition is what causes the issues.
All that said, kids just think it’s cool outfits, and giggle when they see naked people anyways. Kink was never an issue. Queer culture just isn’t as marketable as the sanitized het culture.
